Donations support our educational programs at schools and historic sites. In addition, the group is seeking to raise funds to procur a trailer that transports the camp gear and cannon used in our presentations. Other programs in need of funding include the purchase of materials for uniforms, as well as other items used by the group.

The activities of the Knox's Artillery Regiment include hosting, and participating in educational programs, historic celebrations, and commemorations of battles and other important events in American history. In addition, Knox's Artillery Regiment has an active school program where our members offer an exciting presentation on this important period of American history. The education services of living history volunteers like the members of Knox's Artillery Regiment have been valued at over $100 per day by the National Park Service. The estimated value of the organization's combined donated services totals more than $20,000 each year.

Our members outfit themselves as the soldiers and families of George Washington's army. Each member must purchase his or her own clothing and equipment to authentically portray the soldiers and families of the Continental Army. The total cost for each soldier is about $1,500, entirely paid for by the individual member. The total amount our current members have collectively spent as members of Knox's Artillery is estimated to be well over $100,000.
